Why eStatements?

  • Save paper. Save space. It’s Free!
  • Receive them electronically within Online or Mobile Banking on the same date each month based on your statement cycle. No more waiting for paper statements to arrive in the mail!
  • View them on any device, at any time, whenever it’s convenient for you.
  • Store them by saving them to your computer, external hard drive, or using whatever method you prefer, to keep them organized and secure. That way you have access to all your statements for future reference. (Note: The IRS can go back as far as seven years when doing audits.)

Steps to Sign Up for eStatements

  1. Login to Online or Mobile Banking
  2. Go to eStatements under "Account Services" for Online Banking OR under "More" for Mobile Banking. 
  3. Read the Federal E-Sign Disclosure & Consent Form that appears on the screen and click I Accept at the bottom.
  4. You’re all set to receive eStatements!

Steps to View Your eStatements

  1. You will receive a notification via email to the email address linked to your Online or Mobile Banking. The email comes from eStatements with a subject line of First Citizens eStatement.
  2. Login to Online Banking or Mobile Banking. Go to eStatements under "Account Services" on Online Banking. Go to eStatements under "More" on Mobile Banking. 
  3. Your statements will appear on the screen. You are able to view statements for multiple accounts. 
  4. You can view, download, or print your statements from Online or Mobile Banking.
