Attention Bill Pay customers - if you are missing a payee, and you had set up an electronic payment to someone via their routing and account numbers, please note these are NOT payment types you can make any longer.
But we do have good news... if you are transferring money from your First Citizens account to an account that you are an authorized signer on at another financial institution, you can still make that payment using External Funds Transfer under the External Transfers section under the Move Money heading.
If you are paying an individual electronically, you can still pay them but it will be either via a paper check through Bill Pay (which requires a mailing address and 5 business day delivery ) or electronically through Popmoney. With Popmoney you can send money to anyone with a United States bank account using only their cell phone number or email address. If you know their routing and account numbers, you can send money that way as well.
