Teller Supervisor

Location: Mason City State Street

Loan Processor II

Location: Charles City

First Citizens Bank is accepting applications for a Loan Processor II for our Charles City office.

Position Summary: Act as the primary representative of the officers in connection with the servicing of the loan portfolio and/or deposit relationships in a sales and support capacity. The Loan Processor II, in conjunction with the account officer, is expected to develop and maintain a high standard of customer service through excellent communication skills, and dedication to service excellence. The incumbents are expected to operate with minimal supervision; have a full range of product knowledge and the ability to interface with customers on a daily basis; have a good business development attitude and the ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner. The incumbent should also recognize opportunities to cross sell products and services offered by the bank. Assists the Loan Officers in servicing loans. Provides administrative services to lenders including loan review preparation, managing exception lists, updating in-house credit files, and closings for loan renewals. Provides secretarial support such as typing and assisting with the maintenance of department records and files.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in the banking industry in an administrative/lending environment with customer service experience required. College courses relating to business, accounting and/or finance preferred. The incumbent must have the ability to support the applicable officers/managers and be customer service oriented to fulfill the internal and external customer needs effectively and efficiently.

Universal Banker

Location: Osage

First Citizens Bank is accepting applications for a Universal Banker for our Osage office.

Position Summary: Services customers and their accounts, cross-selling bank products, and complying with bank operations.  Works with customers and prospective customers on deposit related, consumer and real estate loan products along with other services offered by the bank making recommendations which will satisfy the customer’s needs. This position will have the potential to travel as needed for other branch support.

Lending Relationship Officer

Location: Mason City West

First Citizens Bank is accepting applications for a Lending Relationship Officer for our Mason City West office.

Position Summary: The Lending Relationship Officer will monitor assigned credits, which includes financial tracking, maturities, annual reviews, document exceptions and ongoing monitoring. They will perform independent analysis of the assigned credits, assist with the management and review of commercial and agricultural loan administration process, incorporating documentation, closing, funding, post-closing, LOC funding, Small Business Administration and FSA lending programs. They will participate in Lender meetings with client/prospect to develop a direct working relationship with the customer and also be responsible for making loans within established lending limits with full accountability for the Bank’s business and consumer activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent educational and/or 1-5 years relevant work experience required. Independent Credit Analysis or bank lending experience preferred.

Accounting and Loan Review Officer

Location: Any/Remote

First Citizens Bank is accepting applications for an Accounting and Loan Review Officer for all locations.

Position Summary: Duties include calculating the Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss Reserve (ALLL) and making recommendations to executive management and the Board of Directors for monthly allocations to the reserve.  Position will be instrumental in implementing significant new accounting standard in this area, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer. Responsible for conducting independent reviews and risk assessments procedures and processes, underwriting guidelines, and applicable laws, rules, regulations, in addition to determining that risk is accurately identified via the Bank’s internal loan risk rating system to ensure the Bank maintains a sound loan portfolio.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred, 5-7 years relevant work experience, with banking and/or regulator experience preferred, and strong demonstrated analytical skills.
