What is Mobile Banking?
Mobile banking gives you access to your accounts from your mobile web browser or a downloadable mobile banking application, depending on your preference and your phone capabilities. Both options allow you to view account balances, check history, transfer funds, and find nearest atm or branch locations.

Is Mobile Banking secure?
Yes. The Mobile Banking service uses the same best practices that Online Banking with your PC does. No account data is ever stored on your phone. And in the event that your phone is lost or stolen, the service can be disabled by contacting First Citizens Bank.

I am not enrolled in Online banking. Can I still use the Mobile Banking?
No. You must be enrolled in Online Banking and have successfully signed in for the first time from a PC before attempting to use Mobile Banking.

What devices are supported for use with the Mobile FCB App?
Any iPhone or Android operating system is supported. Our App is not compatible with tablets at this time.

Where do I find the Mobile FCB App for my smartphone?
Mobile FCB is the name of our App. It is available for iPhones from iTunes and for Androids from Google Play. A QR code is available on our website to scan and find our app.

I don’t have an iPhone or Android device, can I use Mobile Banking?
Yes. While our Mobile App is available for iPhone and Android devices, all other devices can access our Mobile site at

Is there a fee for Mobile Banking?
No, First Citizens does not charge for the Mobile Banking services. However, your mobile carrier may charge for internet access.

Are my login credentials the same for the phone as they are for my PC?
Yes. You will use the same credentials for Online Banking with a PC and Mobile Banking with your phone. If you are a new user you will need to login for the first time from a PC.

What do I do if I have forgotten my credentials for Online Banking?
You can contact any of our bank offices or you can e-mail us at for assistance.

Can I transfer money using Mobile Banking?
Yes. You can transfer money between any First Citizens Bank accounts that you own. If you currently transfer money from your PC using our Online Banking you will have the same transfer options available with your mobile phone.

Can I make a deposit using Mobile Banking?
Yes. Mobile Deposit is available for anyone who downloads the Mobile Banking App. The standard deposit limit is $1000.00 per item. Deposits received by 5:00 p.m. CST are posted and made available after two banking days.

How do I know that my deposit was accepted?
After making your deposit you should receive a confirmation message. In the capture option, you can click on the Previous Deposits button and should see your deposit listed there. Your deposit will be posted to your account in 2 banking days.

What do I do with the check that I just deposited? Do I need to keep it?
Per our Mobile Deposit User Agreement we request that you keep the checks you deposit with your Mobile phone for 30 days. If there is any problem with your deposit item we will contact you.

I am enrolled in BillPay. Can I pay bills from Mobile Banking?
Not at this time. BillPay will only work through Online Banking and a PC/laptop.
